YCW Movement, Rotary, FRSC embark on zero polio walk

As part of efforts to ensure eradication of polio in Nigeria, Rotary Club of Ojodu (District 9110) in conjunction with Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC and Young Christian Workers Movement of Nigeria (YCW), Omole embarked on a 5Km Walk to keep Polio at ZERO in the Communities/Societies. With the intention of promoting good health for the great generation which the group stated as its priority; Rotary Club of Ojodu in this solidarity walk with Road Safety Corps and Young Christian Workers Movement of Nigeria of Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, Omole Phase1 took to the street recently to mark World Polio Day, as well as staged an awareness for the residents of Ojodu, Omole Estate, Ogba and environs on measures to keep Polio at Zero level in Children from ages 0-5years. The walk which started in the morning saw the group assemble at FRSC Ojodu Office, as they went all the way to the office of Hon. Olusegun David Odumbaku, Executive Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, where they aired their views on measures of ensuring that polio remains at zero level in the society, including ways of sensiitising people about the disease.
