The situation of things in Nigeria is becoming more and more difficult that one is tempted to give up on the country, given what appears to be the attractive choice, but we cannot give up on the country. We just have to use whatever platform to continue to speak truth to power. We have to storm heaven with prayers because with prayers we can do much more. Prayers change things. We must pray for God to take charge and for those in government to think out ways of making the burden of living in Nigeria a little lighter.”

• Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos.
