The Vicar General and Episco-
pal Vicar, Ikeja Region of the
Catholic Archdiocese of La-
gos, Rt. Revd. (Dr.) Monsignor John
Asuquo Aniagwu recently embarked
on a three day canonical visit to St.
Patrick’s Catholic Church, Igbogila,
Ipaja Deanery.
The Parish Priest, Very Revd. Fr. Law-
rence Nwaneri, Cssp conducted him
round the parish centre and its two
outstations, St. Jude Ashipa Church
of the Archangels, Bada, recently ele-
vated to quasi-parish, and the Church
of the Annunciation, Ishefun yet to be
assigned a priest-in-charge.
The Vicar General rounded off his
canonical visit on Sunday with the
administration of the sacrament of
confirmation on about three hundred
candidates from different parishes in
the Ipaja Deanery.
Right Revd. (Dr.) Monsignor Aniag-
wu was accompanied on the canonical
visit by the Dean, Ipaja Deanery Very
Revd. Fr. Stephen Enearu. More de-
