- Prof. Okonedo emerges as 1st Guest
The Catholic Herald newspaper is set to commence its monthly editorial menu tagged, ‘Herald Guest of the Month’. Herald Guest of the Month is a premium editorial unit of The Catholic Herald Weekly designed to feature Catholics of repute whose career track record and experiences can influence and impact others positively. Its primary objective is to provide inspiration for the Catholic younger generation who seek to actualise themselves in their various endeavours. According to Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Godonu, Director, Directorate of Social Communications, Archdiocese of Lagos, the prospective guests are extraordinarily successful Catholics drawn from the segments of influential clergy, religious and lay faithful (professionals) in Nigeria.

“They are models of hardworking and accomplished Catholic personalities, especially in the spiritual, moral, business, and political terrains,” he stressed. The select personalities are invited to Directorate of Social Communications office for compelling interview stories that will not only make fascinating headlines but also provoke hot conversations that would attract the secular world to The Catholic Herald Weekly newspaper.”
The inaugural Herald Guest of the Month is Professor Enase Okonedo, FCA. She is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this, she was Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and Dean of Lagos Business School (LBS). Enase Okonedo joined Lagos Business School in 1995 after a stint in the banking and financial services sector. Before she was appointed Dean, she was a full-time faculty member at the school teaching courses in Finance as well as Problem-Solving and Decision-Making; and held several leadership positions at the School.
