The winners from the four regions and the second runner-up for the Lekki region will join the race to slog it out come September 21, 2024, which happens to be a day set aside to celebrate the Archbishop’s birthday. By design, there are no losers at the grand finale as all finalists would go home from the competition with handsome monetary prize, ranging from five hundred thousand, three hundred, two hundred, one hundred thousand naira and beautiful consolation prizes.

The winners of the Badagry region championship are Mr and Mrs Valentine Ezeimo from Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Ayetoro in Ijanikin Deanery, while the champion family from Ikeja region are Mr. and Mrs. Donatus Oke from St. Augustine Catholic Church, Maryhill in Ikorodu Deanery. The winners of the competition at the Lagos regional level are no other than Mr. and Mrs. Ezenwa Charles Ifeanyi from St. Margret Olodi-Apapa in Apapa Deanery.

Lekki Region were not left out of the glory of having a champion family in Mr. and Mrs. Ihuoma Rowland from St. Gabriel Ladi-lak in Yaba Deanery. With the consideration that no parish would be representing the Lekki region, the second place winner Mr. and Mrs. Adolphus Eze was given the chance to compete. These five champion families will be digging deep into Scriptural and doctrinal questions prepared by the Religious Education Department of the Archdiocese of Lagos and would be getting their rewards at the end of the championship. More families are encouraged to join the competition subsequently in order to broaden their knowledge of the Catholic faith, doctrine and the bible. It’s a family affair and the family is a mini church where Christ functions optimally. Come one, come all. Christ is waiting for you.
