The Super Falcons are very close to Paris 2024 Olympics qualification after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Cameroon last week at the Abuja National Stadium. Esther Okoronkwo’s 14th minute strike was all Falcons needed to go through haven held their opponents to a goalless draw four days ago in Douala in the first leg.
The Super Falcons will now face Bayana Bayana of South Africa in the final round of matches to decide one of the countries that would fly Africa’s flag at the biggest and most glamorous sports fiesta billed for this summer in the French capital.
