The mood of happiness, spiritual uplifting, recognition of the role of Virgin Mary and gratitude to God pervaded the atmosphere and congregation at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tedi-Muwo, Lagos, when the icon of Mother of Perpetual Help and pictures of Saints Peter and Paul were ushered into the Church, recently.
The colourful procession for the three-fold celebration of the Mother of Perpetual Help Feast Day, Patron Feast Day and Parish Cultural Day featured beautifully dressed parishioners, children, Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba, altar servers and the pastoral team, led by Rev. She touched the garment of Jesus with faith, and was healed of her haemorrhage disease.” The second part of the celebration which took place at the Parish’s old Church arena featured cultural dances by the CMO, and CYON, band performance by the CWO, drama by MCA, among other activities.
