The International Alliance of Catholic Knights (IACK) recently inaugurated its new leadership at the close of its 30th biennial meeting, capping eight days of prayer, deliberation, and fraternal solidarity. Sir Charles Cobb, KSG, Past Supreme Knight of the Knights of Marshall, was installed as the new International President of IACK.

Alongside him, Nigerian-born Sir Dr. Charles Mbelede, Supreme Knight of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, assumed office as Deputy International President. Both leaders will serve a two-year tenure. The biennial gathering, which opened on September 11 with a solemn concelebrated Mass led by the Emeritus Archbishop of Cape Town at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, brought together Supreme Knights from across the world with their spouses.

The closing Mass drew a distinguished congregation, including Cardinal Stephen Bristin, Archbishop of Johannesburg; Archbishop Slattery, CMF, of Pretoria; the International Supreme Chaplain of IACK, Rev. Fr. Brendan; and several priests. The installation of Cobb and Mbelede was hailed as a defining moment for IACK, strengthening its mission of faith, service, and unity among Catholic knights worldwide. Prayers were offered for the new leaders to enjoy “a fruitful and impactful period of service in excellent health of mind and body.”
