Hello, dear children! Let’s go on a fun and spiritual adventure as we learn how to be living saints. Each month, we will discover something new and exciting about becoming a saint through questions related to attaining sainthood. We hope that the articles written by the MCA children as a response will encourage every child to live a saintly life. The question for the month of October is “What should a Living Saint remember every day, week and month?” Enjoy reading the responses from some of our children.
‘Monthly, a living saint should recall the bigger picture; life is not just about what happens day-to-day’
A living saint is someone who tries to live a life that reflects God’s love and teachings. Every day, they should remember that they are loved by God no matter what. This reminder helps them stay confident and calm, even when things are tough. They should also remember that their actions, big or small, matter. Every act of kindness, honesty, or forgiveness makes a difference in the world around them. Each week, a living saint should remember the importance of growing in faith. This means setting aside time to learn more about their beliefs, whether by reading Scripture, praying, or talking about God with others. They should also remember that nobody is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes.
What matters is how they handle those mistakes, by asking for forgiveness and trying to do better next time. Saints focus on improving and becoming more loving and patient. Every month, a living saint should take a moment to remember the bigger picture. Life is not just about what happens day-today, but about living a life of purpose and service. They should remember that their gifts and talents are meant to help others. Reflecting on how to impact positively in their community, and what more they can do to improve the society they find themselves in, this helps them stay focused on their mission of spreading love and goodness in the world. In conclusion, a living saint should always remember to do simple things in extraordinary ways.

‘A living saint should focus on practicing love and kindness’
A living saint should focus on practicing love and kindness, mindful of the small acts that reflect their spiritual values. Weekly, they should engage in self-examination to understand their growth and areas needing improvement, ensuring they remain on their chosen path. Monthly, they should assess their larger impact on their community and adjust their efforts to continue fostering positive change. This consistent reflection helps balance personal development with the ultimate goal of serving others selflessly.

‘Being a saint is something you work on all the time’
A person who wants to be a saint should think about God every day. They should try to be kind and good, and say nice things to people. They should pray a lot and always remember to be helpful to others, because that is what God wants. Each week, they should go to Church and read the Bible more. They should also think about how to be better and ask God to forgive them if they made mistakes. This helps them get closer to being like Jesus. Every month, they should think about how much they have grown. They can make new plans to be even better and remember that being a saint is something you work on all the time. It’s not easy, but with God’s help, they can keep getting better and better.
