Rev. Fr. (Dr.) Joseph Ademola Aladejana of Ondo Diocese has been appointed as the new Director of St. Augustine Regional Pastoral Institute (SARPI), Ede. The Board Commission of SARPI, under the chairmanship of Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins officially approved the appointment of Fr. Ajadejana at the meeting of the Board Commission held at the institute. Fr. Aladejana who was appointment on November 24, 2022 is taking over from Fr. Michael Olufemi Akintolu who has served as the Director of the Institute for seven years. Fr. Aladejana has been on ground understudying him since June and will officially resume office on the January 1, 2023. The board also approved new secretaries to work with the new director for effective output. These include Rev. Fr. Michael Akínsode, Secretary for Bible; Rev. Fr. Kenneth Adesína, Secretary for Translation; Rev. Fr. Francis Adedigba, Secretary for Mission and Dialogue; Rev. Fr. Michael Akíntolu, Secretary for Publication; Rev. Fr. John Irekìígbe, Secretary Assistant for Publication; Rev. Fr. Joseph Aladejana, Secretary for Education. Fr. Aladejana, an indigene of Ute, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State was born on 27th March, 1976.
