Lady Neta Nwosu LSM, an integrated marketing communications expert and Editor, The Catholic Herald weekly newspaper has emerged the 2024 Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) Queen of Sacred Heart Chaplaincy, Ngozika, Awka. She was crowned CWO Queen after emerging winner of a contest, a prelude to the Annual August Meeting also dedicated to raising funds for the organisation. Lady Anthonia Eneta Nwosu, LSM, better known as Neta Nwosu is a prominent figure in Nigeria’s media and integrated marketing communications’ landscape.
Born a Catholic, by deeply rooted Catholic parents, Sir David and Lady Esther Egbikuadje of blessed memories, she has lived to the details of a true Catholic home accomplishing side by side an enviable professional profile. The Zoology graduate of the University of Benin holds a Master of Science Degree in Media and Marketing Communications of Pan – Atlantic University, the parent body of famous Lagos Business School. Her professional life spans over three decades in the media and marketing communications industry. Throughout her media career in Vanguard, Concord, Daily Times, Post Express and Sun Newspapers, she has established rare and reputable capabilities in not only print journalism but also corporate services in the act of newspapering.

The Sun newspapers is a superb instance. She was one of the 10-pioneer management staff that got The Sun newspapers, Voice of the nation and one of the biggest newspapers in Nigeria today off the ground. From Business Development and Business (brands) reporting, she grew to the position of General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Services. Her weekly column, Marketing Matters where she took on corporate Nigeria and their brands was a masterstroke in brand and product management advisory. As a Catholic, Neta flourished in her media career, she also contributed her God-given talents to the Church through her various Parishes and indeed, her Archdiocese, Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.
She has served the Laity Council in various capacities as Parish Laity Chairperson and PRO, Archdiocesan Laity Council. Nwosu has been in the service of the Catholic Women Organisation Nigeria, at Parish, Deanery, Archdiocesan and Provincial levels. She was PRO, CWO, Lagos Archdiocese; Secretary, CWO, Lagos Archdiocese and PRO, CWO, Lagos Ecclesiastical Province as she assumed higher positions. As far back as 2016, she was appointed to write a book on CWO Nigeria. The book is almost ready for unveiling and launch. Media wise, she has also served as President, Catholic Media Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN), Lagos Archdiocese.
She is currently the President, SIGNIS, Archdiocese of Lagos, an Archdiocesan branch of SIGNIS, the World Catholic Association for Communication practitioners. Lady Neta Nwosu, CEO, Neta and Netas, an integrated Marketing Communications Agency is also the Editor of The Catholic Herald weekly, the Lagos Archdiocesan newspaper and oldest surviving newspaper in Nigeria today. She is a member of the Lagos Archdiocese’ All Purpose Committee. She is married to Sir Paul Nwosu (KSM) with children. She is a member of NUJ, NIPR, NIMN and APCON.
