The joy of having to share same birth day at 60th with Nigeria is a joy to behold looking back with nostalgia and many reflections at the nation’s independence. This was the mood captured of Mrs Rosemary Elamah-Akhigbe recently when she played host to numerous guests and friends, family, wellwishers and colleagues both from far and near at her Afashio residence in Etsakor west LGA Edo State. The ceremony which kicked off with a Church thanks giving mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church parish, Afashio was a dual thanksgiving ceremony of happy retirement from service as a medical health worker and blessings of good health at 60th. The celebrating priest, Rev. Fr. Syvester Attashie in his homily admonished faithfuls on the importance of thanksgiving profound gratitude to God after a meritorious service culminating at happy retirement. The train latter moved to the Elamah’s family residence for entertainment of guest that depicts the picture of contentment and amazing grace.
