The Holy Matrimony between Regina Ezeugwu and Justin Chieke, former CYON President, St. Charles’, Olodi, took place recently at Christ the King Catholic Church, Akowonjo, Lagos. The wedding Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Christopher Olagbemi, Assistant Parish Priest, St. Thomas Catholic Church, Onilekere; Rev. Fr. Crescent Iloka, Associate Parish Priest, St. Timothy’s, Ojodu Berger and Rev. Fr. Ignatius Okoligwe CM, host Parish Priest. Rev. Fr. Iloka in his homily stated that marriage is a life commitment and as such husband and wife should always be there for each other.

The Paranaribo Diocesan priest then urged the couple to always discuss together before taking any decision all the days of their lives. Rev. Fr. Okoligwe in his closing remark welcomed the visiting Priests to the Vicentian Community in Akowonjo. The Vicentian Father then extolled Justin Chieke who have been working hard in the Church especially in the areas of the management of the parish project free of charge and his commitment towards the growth and development of the Parish CYON.

The wedding reception was held at Hob & Hog Event Centre, Shasha Road under the distinguished chairmanship of Mr. and Mrs. Best Ezeani. Other dignitaries that graced the occasion included Dr. (Mrs.) Chibor, Rector, Institute of Transport Management Technology (ITMT); Engr. Francis Nwosu, NCCA; Onyeukwu Ibeawuchi, Head of Commercial, FAAN Ikeja Domestic Wing; Dr. Chifon Nnadi; Management & Staff of Air Peace; Evang. Cajetan Agbakwuru, Chairman, Apapa Deanery Laity Council; Mr. Jude Ikebido; Mr. Chijioke Ezugwu, President, Lagos Archdiocesan Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria, CYON; and host of other guests. In his vote of thanks, Mr. Chieke Justin on behalf of his wife, appreciated the officiating priests; their sponsor, Engr. & Mrs. Peter Mbamaonyeukwu; and all others for being there for them at this happy moment of their lives.
