Corporate organisations and individuals have been called upon to key in and sponsor the training and empowerment of the youths of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos in video technology and relevant courses. The appeal was made by Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Godonu, Director, Directorate of Social Communications, Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, and Parish Priest, while announcing the commencement of the second edition of the Youth Empowerment Programme organised by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, (OLPH), Victoria Island, in collaboration with the Directorate of Social Communications, Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.

According to Fr. Godonu, the programme which is for individuals of 18 years and above, will run for two to three months, after which certificates will be issued to successful participants in courses, including Videography and Cinematography, Video Editing and Video Streaming, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Marketing. Interested youths are required to register with the link that will be sent to all parish social media pages. “God bless you as you help to empower the youths of our parish and the Archdiocese of Lagos”, the Director prayed.
