The 2024 Communications Week (ComWEEK), celebration will commence from Sunday, May 5 to Sunday, May 12, 2024 in all parishes, seminaries, convents, schools, and other Catholic institutions in Nigeria. The event has as its theme, “Artificial intelligence and wisdom of the heart: For a fully human communication.” According to Very Rev. Fr. Mike Nsikak Umoh, National Director of Social Communications, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Abuja, leaders of all the various Catholic institutions should take note of the date, and encourage full participation of all persons under their care.

He said ComWEEK is a weeklong media literacy programme aimed at promoting and fostering true discipleship and good citizenship. Fr. Umoh called for maximum cooperation of all concerned, as he added that this year, the people will learn a lot about the new technology: Artificial Intelligence (AI). The daily manual for the event will be made available on the official ComWEEK website: comweeknigeria.com.
