The new executives of the Catholic Women Oganisation of Nigeria, Lagos Archdiocese (CWONLA) have called for prayers, and the intervention of Mother Mary for successful leadership, in piloting the affairs of the women in the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos. Making this appeal on behalf of the executives, at a thanksgiving Mass held at St, Cyprian Catholic Church, Oko-Oba Agege, Mrs. Pauline Nebo the new CWONLA President said all she needs is prayers, as she is sure that with the intervention of Mary, Mother of Good Counsel, she and her team will succeed. In her thank you speech, Mrs. Nebo assured everyone present that she would do her best, to work hard for the propagation of the faith, and promised not to let the Archdiocese of Lagos and Agege Deanery down.
Rev. Fr. Richard Fasuyi, Parish Priest, St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Oko-Oba, Agege , prayed for Mrs. Nebo and her fellow Excos, as he wished them well throughout their tenure in the organization. . The Mass was co-celebrated by Priests, including Rev Fr. Richard Fasuyi, Parish Priest, St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Oko-Oba Agege, and Rev Fr. Emmanuel Anyanwu, Associate Parish Priest, St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Oko-Oba, Agege. CWONLA was well represented at the event, as members from other deaneries in the Archdiocese showed up in their numbers. Other dignitaries who graced the occasion include the new CWONLA Excos and some CWONLEP officers.
