The resurrection of Christ is a central doctrine of Christianity, it is based on the belief that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. The first and the greatest message of Easter is the message of Divine Love (John 3:16) – God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, who came and died for our redemption and resurrected for our justification.
The second message of Easter is that life is filled with ups and downs. Just like Jesus who partook in both death and resurrection, we should accept both the good and the bad (Job 2:10). The third message is that Christ has conquered death with his resurrection; therefore, we should not fear death anymore, but hope in the resurrection of the dead on the last day. The fourth message is the message of joy, peace and newness of life.
The resurrection of Christ brought untold joy, peace and new life to humanity. I intend to live this message by offering myself in total self-giving for the good and the betterment of humanity. I will take from life what life can offer, not everything or nothing, but positive and negative, joy and pain, in imitation of the sufferings and glory, death and resurrection of Christ.
Also, I will not fear death and its stings again but will begin to hope in the resurrection of the dead. Finally, I will always be joyful, peaceful and live a renewed life by virtue of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In conclusion, the main message is that Christ Jesus did not come into the world to thrill us, but that we might cling or cleave to him

Resurrection is a situation where by a dead person who has been buried rises from the dead and starts up another lifetime. Therefore, the Resurrection of Christ refers to the rising of Jesus from the dead. Jesus died, was buried and He remained in the tomb for three days, He rose on the third day. Jesus did all of these for our sins.
The resurrection of Christ allows us to leave sin behind and move forward with Him. Just as the Word of God said in Romans 6:6 “and we know that our old being has been put to death with Christ on His cross, in order that the power of the sinful self might be destroyed”.
This scripture is telling us that all our sins, all our evil deeds and all our wicked acts were put to death with Jesus on His cross, in order for us to live a good and sinless life. The Resurrection of Christ has some significance and there are two major significances: 1. It gives a clear sign that Jesus is the powerful Son of God who has conquered death and reigns as Lord of all. 2. The Resurrection demonstrates that Jesus’ blood of the new covenant saves his people from their sins. Therefore, the Resurrection of Christ is one of the major evidence that He is the son of God.

I intend to live my life in holiness. If you celebrate the Resurrection Sunday once a year, you are missing out; you can live and walk in Resurrection power everyday. He is risen! What a special day, we celebrate God’s love and power. On Easter (Resurrection) Sunday, we commemorate the death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and it is celebrated by Christians every year.
These are the four ways to live in Resurrection: Believe in it, Speak about it, Act on it, Live it. Believe in it: Being a Christian cannot automatically make you experience the Resurrection power, you have to believe in the Resurrection of Christ from your heart to access all its benefits: healing, abundant blessings, peace, joy and every good thing, you must put the same faith into action.
Speak about it: When you believe that Resurrection power is residing in you, you begin to activate it through your word, then you speak about it with faith-filled words to release the blessings. Act on it: The very same power that raised Jesus from the dead is now living in you (Rom. 8:11). Live it: You have to live out your faith in God, and in the reality of the Resurrection, do not sin again.

Jesus’ resurrection meant that God had conquered the evil powers and cancelled their will to impose their powers on the world. I intend to live the Resurrection of Christ by following his footsteps like visiting orphanages, fasting and praying for the world and sharing what I have with the poor. We can read about the Resurrection in the Book of Matthew 28:1-20 and Mark 16:1-20

My message on the resurrection of Christ is about peace in our homes and our areas. Resurrection of Christ teaches us a lot of things which we should be practicing in our daily lives and peace is one of them. There was fear among the Disciples of Christ when the armies were searching for Christ but Christ gave his Disciples the word of peace and glad tidings.
Though, it was difficult to accept but God consoled the Disciples of Christ and allowed peace reign in their hearts. Now, whenever I watch the news with my parents, I see war all over. In my location, what I see makes me sad because there is no peace.
I cannot walk to school without being scared because of the evil of men. We need peace to do things well and that peace should start with us. It is not good for people to be afraid of us and if we can give people peace, we will have peace. My family is a peaceful family and I will try as much as I can to spread peace amongst my friends in my school and my parish so that they can share the peace in their families. I pray that God will make our land peaceful and change the hearts of human beings for good, Amen.
