Husbands and wives have been asked to trust one another and keep an open mind in the marriage vocation as instituted by God; the husband is the head while the wife is the neck, and without the neck the head cannot move. Those were the exact words of Rev. Fr. Vitus Unegbu to emphasise the complementary roles wife and husband should play to sustain the marriage institution. In his homily delivered at the wedding ceremony of Miss Juliet Amarachi Agu and Mr. John Ogbaji at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos, recently, Rev. F. Unegbu advised the couple to have what he called protective trust for one another, and effective communication between the both, to avoid misunderstanding and misinterpretation, and for the union to succeed. The wedding Mass concelebrated by six Priests and two Deacons, including the Associate parish priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Anyanwu, Rev. Frs. Gabriel Fatoye, Paul Ogene SC, Marc Mamona SC, Godwin Okuromi OSJ, Rev. Valentine Patrick SC and Rev. Philimon Likita SC, had members of the family, friends and well wishers in attendance.
