Yeah! Nigeria is in terrible times with hunger in the air as food prices rocketed! Height insecurity! Part of north becoming a no go area because of bandits! ASUU strike! President Buhari had said the best parents can bequeath to their children is education but how cheap it is to make it easier for parents? How is the standard improving that our leaders now send their children abroad for further studies? How is government and our leaders treating our teachers and lecturers to get the best products out of our school system? What has our technical education system not been able to address unemployment for self-employment that insecurity reign supreme? Terrorists still threatening to kill train attacked abducted victims asking to be paid ransom in billions! A governor asked the people of his state to acquire gun to defend themselves but silent on his security votes! Corruption still festers with 180 billion naira swallowed by our turned snake accountant general of the federation! Continuous disobedience of court orders by government when it does not favours them! Poverty!

Rising youth unemployment as some youths take solace in yahooyahoo and money ritualism! dwarfed moral value system! Jumbo pay to political class as the poor continued to be denied social security! To get unemployment benefits you must become militant, bandit, or terrorist first, wielding your ak47 machine guns with bombs and get amnesty! Farmers now pay taxes to bandits to access their farms in tune of millions! Catholic priests are no longer safe as countless of them have been killed and kidnapped for ransom! South East losing out economic development due to Mondays sit at home! Kanu still being detained amidst continued demand for Biafra! More beautiful young ladies and teenagers engages in prostitution with advent of social media! Manufacturing Association of Nigeria threatening to close down their industries if exorbitant price of diesel is not being addressed! Imagine N800 a litre? Oil marketers want upward review in petrol prices!

Queue returns! FG confused over oil subsidy removal! The promised of fixing our moribund refineries still remain a mirage! And redeeming Nigeria too, continue to remain a serious mirage with foregone restructuring! Isn’t this from fry pan to fire contraption? So as concerned citizens I begin to wonder if really Buhari was the new sheriff in town and messiah we had supported to bail us out. How worse can it get? I pray we don’t envisage Sri Lanka Episode. Some will say they will send the army or police against the people that feel we need mass revolutionary protest to get out of our challenges! Are the police and the army not part of us? Are they not buying from same markets to eat? Are they too not feeling the impact economically and couple with inferior fighting guns, they use against terrorists who have killed some of our soldiers with sophisticated ones they used? Unless if it is civilian dictatorship we still practice. Let us pray it just doesn’t happen! Yours profound
