The first indigenous Catholic Television Network in Africa, Lumen Christi has clocked 7th year since it commenced 24 hours operation across the globe. And what better way to celebrate its success story than to launch its recent inclusion on the Startimes platform! This has made the Lumen Christi readily available to millions of viewers across the African continent and beyond. The Founder of this digital tool of evangelization, Prince Soji Olagunju, in a chat with the Catholic Herald Newspaper expressed joy and gratitude to the Almighty God for the giant feats the television network has recorded since its inception on the feast day of our Lady of Fatima – May 13, 2014. A Thanksgiving Mass was held by the management and staff of the organization with some close associates and friends in attendance at its corporate office in Osapa, Lekki, Lagos last Thursday. Coincidentally, the Chairman, Prince Soji Olagunju also clocked 57 years on the same day.

Speaking at the event, Prince Olagunju attributed all the successes recorded so far to the Almighty God with the ever abiding presence of Christ Jesus and our beloved Mother and Queen, The most blessed and ever Virgin Mary! “There is no doubt that we have every reason to thank the Almighty God for bringing us thus far. Most importantly, is our recent inclusion on the Startimes platform. Already the Startimes management shortlisted Ibadan for test – run transmission and this has since commenced in the Oyo State capital on channel 455! We encourage brethren in the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan and Oyo to avail themselves of this golden opportunity. All they need to do is to re – scan their decoders and watch us on channel 455.

Arrangements have also been concluded to avail the two Dioceses with affordable decoders and antennas within the next few days for new subscriptions. Dormant subscribers only need to renew their subscription. Our vision and plan is to spread to all the states of the federation within the next few weeks! What this means is that Lumen Christi is now readily available to all classes of people, more so, as the Startimes monthly subscription is as low as #900 and acquisition of their antennas with decoder is #7,400 thus making it much more affordable and easily accessible to all and sundry.” Aside from being on Startimes, Lumen Christi Television can be viewed on DSTV channel 350, YouTube, Facebook, Online TV, Roku TV, TV Afrique and our website for 24 hours live broadcast.
