LAGS Begins Tests For School Buildings, others

The Lagos State Government has announced that it will commence integrity tests of school buildings in the state from next month. Disclosing this at the Public Enlightenment and Engagement Programme organized by the Lagos State Building Control Agency, LASBCA, tagged; “Prevention of building collapse: A collective responsibility, General Manager, Lagos State Material testing Laboratory, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen said this was to avert incessant collapse of buildings resulting in loss of lives. According to Tajudeen, the test will be conducted in both public and private schools, as well as barracks in the state at no cost to the owners
