
The Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins has announced the appointments and transfer of priests in the Archdiocese in a special circular dated August 2022. According to Archbishop Martins, “The recent Priestly Ordination has necessitated the appointment and transfer of some Priests in the Archdiocese. We expect everyone to give their very best, indeed give all they have to ensure growth of the faith and its practice among our people. “Commending you to the care of Our Lady, Queen of the Clergy and star of Evangelization, we wish you all who have new assignments the best of God’s blessings.” Newly ordained Associates Priests are to report in their places of assignment by 1st September, 2022 while newly appointed Parish Priests, associate Priests and Priests-in-residence are to report in their places of assignment not later than 15th September, 2022.
