The first quarterly meeting
of the Lagos Archdiocese
Catholic Men Organisation
of Nigeria (LACMON) was
held on Saturday 15th February, 2020
at St Martin De Porres Catholic Par-
ish, Agric Ojo in Satellite Deanery.
The Programme started with a cele-
bration of mass at 10:00am the Dean-
ery CMO Chaplain of Satellite Dean-
ery Rev. Fr Godfrey Udeh. C.Ss.R
and the Parish Priest of St Martin De
Porres Catholic Parish, Rev Fr James
Aribiyi C.Ss.R.
The Chief Celebrant of the mass
Fr. Udeh in his homily, implored
Catholic Men to extol the virtues of
our Lord Jesus Christ who is a com-
passionate Lord and Saviour, came to
save sinners and died to save us.
He encouraged the Catholic Men to
live a life of sacrifice to our homes, the
church and society at large emulating
the gospel of the day which mani-
fests Christ’s power of humility and
service in feeding his followers with
five loaves of bread and two fishes as
recorded in the Gospel of St Mark 8:1-
10.
Other highlight of the programme
during the Holy Mass includes, nor-
minal head count of the Fifteen Dean-
eries and welcoming of the LACMON
EXCOs by the Host Parish Priest Rev
Fr. James Aribiyi.

Vincent Otiono thanked the Parish
Priest, the Host Parish and the entire
Satellite Deanery for their warmth re-
ception, planning and anchoring this
first quarter meeting of LACMON
this year. He encouraged the Parish
and the Deanery to continue with this
great enthusiastic spirit.
After the Holy Mass was the usu-
al meet and greet, an opportunity
to connect, reconnect and network
amongst Catholic Men from various
parishes and deaneries followed
