The office of the Lagos Archdiocesan Catholic Men Organization located at Ikeja has been closed down temporarily. This was recently made public by the president Barr. Vincent Otiono. According to him, the decision to close down the office was in line with the recent Release by the Lagos State Government that citizens should stay back at home from Thursday the 26th of March, 2020 for 14 days. He said it was also part of the concerted efforts by the leardership of the Lacmon to complement the effort of the State Government in containing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. “We have taken the decision to close down the Secretariat from Thursday, the 26th of March, 2020 until further notice” Barr. Otiono however stated that the ongoing Lacmon Relief Support Collections will continue. He encouraged members to continue to donate either electronically or otherwise . While adding that members of the executive can still be reached either by Watspp, SMS or Mobile phones, he appealed for members understanding and apologised for any inconvenience(s) caused by the disruption in the system.
