History was made as the Knights of St. John International (KSJI) Lagos Grand Commandery and Ladies Auxiliary admitted six Catholic priests alongside new brothers and sisters at their 2nd Quarter Grand Board of Trustees (GBoT) meeting. The event was hosted by St Joseph Commandery 716 and Laux 646, Gowon Estate, Lagos. The newly admitted priests includes Rev. Fr. Gabriel Udoh, Rev. Fr. John; Alabi, Rev. Fr. Martin Uwakwe, Rev. Fr. Camillus Umoh CM, Rev. Fr. Terseer Ubi CMF, and Rev. Fr. Okechukwu Ogadah OP, bringing the number of priests in the Lagos Grand Commandery to nine, alongside one Rev. Sister.

A total of 116 brothers were admitted into the First Degree, while 22 were exemplified into the 2nd and 3rd Degrees. The Ladies Auxiliary also admitted 55 sisters, with 24 invested into the Modesty Degree and 20 into the Degree of Unity. The event featured Holy Mass, meetings, and a gala night. The Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. (Dr) Vincent Olufinkua, urged new members to uphold the virtues of St John the Baptist.
Grand President Brig. Gen. Joachim Chuks Amamgbo encouraged them to see their admission as an opportunity to serve God with humility and love. The newly admitted brothers were named the Holy Trinity Squad, while the sisters were named the St. Anthony of Padua Squad. Grand Respected President, Noble Sister Justina Chinyere Nwankwo, charged the sisters to remain exemplary in conduct, following the Blessed Virgin Mary. The event concluded with a colourful Passing-Out Parade, marking the end of the threeday gathering.
