‘He loves me unconditionally’
The word of God which is Jesus (John1:1-3) gives me every conviction that Jesus is my friend. I love Him because He loves me unconditionally and laid down His life for our sake. “No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends “. In. 15:13. “I do not call you servants any longer ….but I call you friends. Jn. 15:15 Jesus loves little children, He is humble, forgiving and caring. For His sake the Father’s great love was lavished on us (1Jn.3:1) I love you my Jesus:a loving friend like no other .

‘He laid down His life for me’
Jesus is the Son of God, the second person in Holy Trinity, the one who died for my sins, my special best friend. Jesus is my friend because He is always there for me in times of trouble. He is also my friend because He laid down His life for me. In (John 15: 13), “ He said the greatest love a man can have to his friends is to give his life for them”. I love Jesus because I know I can trust him fully even when family and friends turn their backs on me, He is always there for me, for this I love him.

‘He has been my strength’
himself as offering for my sins (Romans 5:8-9) WHY I LOVE JESUS: (John 1: 12-13) I love and treasure Jesus above all things and always keep his commandments. I love Jesus because He saved me from eternal death, He first love me and answers my prayers, He has been my strength, my identity and purpose is rooted in him, He encourages and believe in me. He knows the deepest and most part about me yet He wants to use me for great and mighty things and calls me friend.

‘His Mercy upon me’
Jesus is my model for friendship, because He loves without limits and He made it possible for me to live a life of friendship because I have been transformed by everything He shared with me. “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. The first reason why I love Jesus is simply because he loved me before the foundations of the world were laid. “Secondly, I love him because he keeps me eternally secure and forgives me by His grace. What a Friend we have in Jesus
1. What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! 2 Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness, Take it to the Lord in prayer. 3. Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge— Take it to the Lord in prayer; Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer; In His arms He’ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.
