As at February 21, 2026, the Council is led by Lady Martha Ilugbekhai as Metropolitan President, following her emergence at the off-cycle Metro elections. From the Noble Executive team are Lady Zita Eke, Noble Treasurer, and Lady Nkechi Amadi, Noble Provost 2. The executive structure reflects a blend of experience and continuity. Lady Juliet Damian-Osuigwe now serves as Immediate Past Metropolitan President, ensuring institutional memory and advisory stability within the Council. Supporting Lady Ilugbekhai at the helm is Lady Lilian Mbama as Metropolitan Vice President. A distinguished academic, Mbama holds a Second Class Upper degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Ibadan and an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy/PhD at Babcock University. Her professional career spans 17 years at United Bank for Africa (UBA), where she rose to the position of Branch Manager. She now serves as Managing Director of a key distribution firm for FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, underscoring her strong corporate credentials. A 4th Degree Lady of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, Mbama is a former President of LSM Festac Sub-Council and Immediate Past Metropolitan Secretary. She is active in the Catholic Women Organisation and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers at Catholic Church of Visitation, Festac Town, and serves as CWO President of Regina Pacis Parish Ihioma, Lagos branch. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.

Other key officers include, Lady Uche Onyenokporo as Metropolitan Secretary; Lady Sandra Fagbemi as Metropolitan Advocate; Lady Esther Shote as Metropolitan Treasurer; Lady Nkiru Ikeche as Metropolitan Financial Secretary; and Lady Angelina Okereke as Metropolitan Auditor. In the welfare unit, Lady Mojisola Olukoya serves as Metropolitan Physician. Communication and administration are strengthened with Lady Ada Mbama as Metropolitan PRO and Lady Mary Akinkuotu as Metropolitan Assistant Secretary.

The Provost team comprises Lady Efe Ehikhuemen (Metropolitan Provost 1), Lady Nkiru Chukwudumogu (Metropolitan Provost 2), and Lady Bernadette Ojo (Metropolitan Provost 3). Observers note that the composition of both the new and continuing executives balances seasoned leadership with tested administrators drawn from various sub-councils, positioning LSM Lagos Metro for greater unity, disciplined governance, and expanded humanitarian impact. With the executive now fully constituted, expectations are high that the Council will consolidate its tradition of faith-driven service while deepening its outreach across Lagos and beyond.
