Most Rev. Habila Tyiakwonaboi Daboh, Catholic Bishop of Zaria Diocese, has disclosed his resolve to ensure a reign of love in Zaria Diocese under his watch as the Chief Shepherd. He also added that he intends to build spiritual structures that will revitalise the spiritual life of the people. “My plan is to increase the tempo with regards to the spiritual life of the people in Zaria Diocese. To build spiritual structures to ensure that love reigns. My motto is ‘life is short, love all.’

Therefore, my plan is to ensure that love reigns in Zaria. There’s nothing in this life. No need to quarel, no need to keep malice, no need to waste time having issues with people, the most important thing is to love and share love with other people.” Bishop Daboh who is the newly ordained and installed Bishop for the Catholic Diocese of Zaria, disclosed this during an exclusive chat with CSN Media on Monday, February 19, during the ongoing first 2024 plenary assembly of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), in Abuja.

He further revealed his intention to put structures in place that will ease and add meaning to the lives of the people in Zaria, like in the areas of education, healthcare and welfare facilities. The prelate who is among the four new bishops in the conference, expressed his delight and a sense of privilege to fraternize with his senior brothers in the episcopacy and to tap from their wealth of experience and knowledge. Bishop Daboh’s Episcopal ordination and installation as the 2nd Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Zaria took place on Thursday, December 14, 2023 after the death of its first bishop, Late Bishop George Jonathan Dodo.
