Facts on the needs to defend, for upholds and sustainability of faith in the universal Church formed the crux of speeches of retreat lectures by KSM and Ladies of knights of Saint Mulumba, region 2, Lagos Metropolitan Council held at St Michael Catholic Church, ketu- Alapere on 4th- 5th June. Decision to organised the lecture on the theme:- “The expectations from the Knighthood in Changing, Challenges facing the Catholic Church and adherence of the faith in a Circular Country like Nigeria.” may no doubt have been spured by needs to assist the Universal Church in its challenges, persecutions and expectations says the ghuest lecturer Rev Fr Marcellinus Teko, adding that it worth its while in marking the Patron feast of St Mulumba. Sir Peter Awokunlehin Grand Knight Ketu Subcouncil noted that the challenges of the universal Church are enormous, the Knights are therefore called to duty. Justifying reason for the celebration, further, Sir Awokunlehin disclosed exclusively ‘ thanks to God for faith of our patron Saint upholds Christ.

We as knights of St Mulumba are dependant of this faith. Here in region 2, Lagos Metropolitan have reasons to celebrate same fanfare throughout Nigeria, the Cameroon and Uganda.
