It was the first of its kind since he assumed office early this year, as the Parish priest of St. Cyprian Catholic Church, New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos, Very Rev. Fr. Richard Fasuyi celebrated his 46th birthday on Monday, June 14, 2021. The public holiday declared by the Federal Government to mark June 12, as Democracy Day made it even merrier as parishioners turned out in their numbers during the morning, afternoon and evening Masses, concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Henry Nosike from Owerri diocese, to pray and thank God for the life of Fr. Fasuyi as he works in the Lord’s vineyard and to shepherd the flock entrusted to him in the right direction. The Associate priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Anyanwu, in his homily encouraged the lay faithful to pray for their priests, especially those marking their birthdays.
