..As KSM Nigeria holds 4th Degree investiture

Newly invested Knights and Ladies of the Order of St. Mulumba, Nigeria have been urged to contribute more of their talents and experiences in spreading the gospel and doing good in the society. The charge was given by Rev. Fr. Augustine Anagboso, Priest-in-Residence at St. Leo Catholic Church, while delivering the homily at Mass, where the Supreme Council of the Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) Nigeria elevated 23 members, including11 brothers and 12 Sisters to the 4th degree. The event which was held at St. Leo Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos, had the admission and investiture ceremonies presided over by Sir (Dr.) Charles Mbelede, Supreme Knight, KSM Nigeria, Lady Anthonia Ngozi Obah, Noble President, Ladies of St. Mulumba, LSM Nigeria, and Very Rev. Msgr. Pius Kii, Supreme Chaplain, ably represented by Rev. Fr. Augustine Anagboso.

According to Fr. Anagboso, having reached the 4th Degree of the order, the newly invested members were expected to do more for the Church and mankind. The Supreme Knight Sir (Dr.) Charles Mbelede congratulated the newly invested Knights and Ladies for attaining the 4th Degree of the Order, as he informed them that it was time to work even harder to withstand the snares of the devil and to be shining examples of the Order and the Church. For her part, Lady Obah charged the new 4th Degree Knights and Ladies to utilise their elevation as opportunities to create a more robust order.

The Order of Knights and Ladies of St. Mulumba Nigeria currently has about 23,000 members across all the states of Nigeria. The Order which was founded on June 14, 1953, clocked 70 years few weeks ago. Membership of KSM cuts across all professions and a host of other skills across every sector of the economy.
