To make Easter memorable for the needy, Faith-Chat Platform, an evangelical online initiative has announced plans to feed approximately 7,000 individuals across ten cities in five African countries.

A TikTok Priest, Rev. Fr. James Anyaegbu, Founder/Director, Faith-Chat Platform made this assertion in an exclusive chat with The Catholic Herald Weekly newspaper, Lagos, Nigeria.

According to Fr. Anyaegbu, the Easter Charity exercise tagged ‘Faith-Chat Platform’s Easter Feeding Initiative’ is specifically designed to make lasting impact across Africa.

He said, “In the spirit of giving and compassion, Faith-Chat Platform Charity initiative has been on a remarkable mission for the past four years. With a focus on providing essential aid to underprivileged children, youth, and the elderly across Africa, its efforts has touched countless lives.

“One of our standout charitable endeavours is our commitment to feeding the hungry during Easter. Inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 14:16 and Mark 6:37, Faith-Chat Platform has made it its mission to “give them something to eat yourselves.”

“Since 2022, we have been able to provide meals to approximately 7,000 individuals during Easter. It all began with impactful initiative in Lagos, Nigeria, where over a thousand adults and children were fed in 2022. The following year, we expanded our reach to nine cities across four African countries, nourishing 5,000 individuals in Nigeria, Mozambique, Ghana, and Kenya.

“Now, in 2024, we have set an ambitious goal to feed 7,000 people in 10 cities across five African countries: Nigeria, Cameroon, Mozambique, Kenya, and Ghana. However, we cannot achieve this without the support of compassionate individuals like you.”

Rev. Fr. James Anyaegbu extended the Platform’s heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported the noble cause in the past and now, as he canvassed for financial support.

He appealed, “We invite you to join us in making a difference, no matter the size of your contribution. In these challenging times, where many struggle to provide for themselves and their families, your help can create a significant and lasting impact on numerous lives.”

To support the Faith-Chat Platform’s Easter Feeding Initiative, he requests that donations should be made in favour of Stanbic IBTC Faith-Chat Platform charity initiative, 0048551857 or its UK account: Bank of Scotland, Faith-Chat Platform, Sort code: 802260, Account number: 24595063.
