A coalition of environment enthusiasts comprising members of Lagos State Volunteer Group, Dreamscope Garden, Office of sustainable development, Justice for Women Project, FABE International and Reds Africa recently embarked on a Climate Walk. The walk which took off from LASPARK, through the Lagos State National Assembly and the Ministry of Environment, climaxed at Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Ikeja where they were all addressed by Dr. Dorothy Bassey, President, Nigerian Environmental Society (NES). They later conversed on the theme, ‘A home for all? Renewing the Oikos of God’. Oikos is the Greek word for “Home” or “Household”.
