Our behaviour during Mass and other spiritual programmes should reflect the reverence and respect due to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Using phones during these moments can detract from the solemnity of the celebration and disrupt the prayerful atmosphere.
When we use our phones during Mass, we not only distract ourselves from the sacred liturgy, but also potentially disturb those around us. Our attention should be focused on the celebration, the readings, the homily, and the Eucharistic Prayer.
