Dr. John Julius, Chairman, Catholic Men Organization (C.M.O). St. Patrick Catholic Church, Igbogila, Ipaja Deanery of the Archdiocese of Lagos, on Easter Sunday, April 4, doled out life chickens as gifts to the elderly of the organization to mark the Easter celebration. Briefing members on why they were gathered together, the Vice Chairman, Livy Ehosiem remarked that he wanted them to appreciate the Chairman, Dr. Julius for his kind gesture, thoughtfulness and ability to carry the members along. In his contribution, Catechist Kunle Ladejobi a patron of the parish chapter of the Man of Order and Discipline (M.O.D), described the action of the chairman as a complete departure from the past, an innovation, incredible accomplishment, and prayed that God would reward him more bountifully. Replying, the Chairman congratulated the parish C.M.O. members on the successful completion of the Lenten season and wished them happy Easter celebration. He said he was motivated by the contributions of the elders to the organization and was therefore bound to appreciate them in his own little way, promising that better things are still in the pipeline for those he regarded as “fathers of the organization”. Dr. John Julius took over as the chairman of the organization from Barrister Lekan Famoroti in July 2019.
