June 6, 2021, was indeed a Sunday full of joy as beautifully dressed CWONLA members from the twelve parishes that make up the Surulere Deanery in their large numbers thronged St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, Ijeshatedo for the celebration of the 2021 Deanery Day. The event was preceded by Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration by Rev. Fr. Michael Hunkokoe. Highlights of the event were the investiture of CWONLA President, Chief Barr. Mrs. Philomena Omorodion who was also the Chairperson of the occasion, as CWONLA Ambassador, cultural dances of different ethnic groups, match-past and Presentation of Merit Awards to deserving personalities.
