The Catholic Women Organisation of Nigeria (CWON), Lagos Archdiocese, joined her counterparts around the globe to mark the 2021 edition of the World Union of Catholic Women Organisations’ (WUCWO) Week from May 8 to 16, 2021. Designed to promote peace and role of women in the society, the weeklong ceremony featured retreats, seminars, movement of the Torch of Unity and portrait of Our Mother of Good Counsel across various Parishes and deaneries within the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos as well as award presentation to members and non-members who have distinguished themselves in the service to the Church.
