CMON, Lagos Province elects new Executives

• Sir John Aigbokhaiode now President

The Catholic Men Organisation of Nigeria (CMON), Lagos Ecclesiastical Province has elected new Executives to pilot the affairs of the organization in the next four years. The election held recently at the Catholic Church of Resurrection Magodo, Lagos produced nine new Executives. Sir John Aigbokhaiode, a former President of CMON, Lagos Archdiocese emerged as the President. Other elected members of the new Executive Council are Prof. James Banjo as Vice President (Ijebu-Ode Diocese); Comrade Pius Dike as General Secretary (Abeokuta Diocese); Evang. Chris Chukwuemeka David as Treasurer (Ijebu-Ode Diocese); Mr. Gabriel Adamolekun as Financial Secretary (Abeokuta Diocese); Mr. Benard Aina as PRO (Ijebu-Ode Diocese); Hon. Promise Uwaechue as Assistant General Secretary (Lagos Archdiocese); Mr. Victor Imhanguelo as Welfare Officer (Lagos Archdiocese); and Chief Kumayo Solomon as Provost (Abeokuta Diocese). Mr. Remigus Nwokoroku, the outgoing President and Comrade Anthony Ogunbiyi both of the Abeokuta Diocese will serve as Ex-Official 1 and 2. Sir John Aigbokhaiode, the newly elected President accepted the responsibility on behalf his Executives and promised that they will give out their best.
