A parishioner of Holy Re-
deemer Catholic Church,
Shibiri, in Badagry Dean-
ery, Sunday Agunu has
become the latest beneficiary of the
Life Insurance scheme put in place by
the Lagos Archdiocesan Catholic Men
Organization of Nigeria (LACMON).
Mr Sunday Agunu is the son of the
late Michael Agunu, a holder of the
Life Insurance Policy who passed on
some time ago. Following his father’s
death, Sunday Agunu became a ben-
eficiary of the One million Naira in-
demnity cheque.
The LACMON Group Life Insurance
Scheme, brokered by Mutual Benefits
Life Assurance Ltd., is meant for their
members and their spouses only. This
insurance policy was conceived and
implemented by LACMON, to cush-
ion the effect of emotional trauma
members face as a result of losing
their loved ones.
Premiums are paid annually by in-
terested CMON members and their
wives. When any policy holder dies,
the beneficiary is paid one million na-
ira to cushion the financial stress such
passage may have on the family.
The CMON Badagry Deanery
Co-ordinator Barr. Barnabas Okoro
presented the one million naira to Mr.
Sunday Agunu on behalf of the LAC-
CMON executives.
The recipient was full of apprecia-
tions to both the Insurance Company
and LACMON, urging members who
are not yet policy holders to key into
the Life Insurance Policy.
