The Chaplain, Knights of St. Mulumba, KSM, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Nwachukwu has called on Knights and ladies in the Catholic Church to serve the universal Church and humanity with integrity, caution, as well as genuine purpose . Fr. Nwachukwu gave the charge while delivering his homily during Mass for the induction of new members into the, Knights of St. Mulumba, Lagos Metro at St Leo Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos. While admonishing the newly inducted Knights and Ladies to be mindful of their call to more service, the chaplain prayed for the grace of God to be abundant in their service to humanity. In his words “The knighthood is a journey of transformation. The difference of who you are and who you will now be. Praying the grace of God to be more abundant than the assignments in all your services.” On her part, during recollection time of the ceremony, Lady Ify Mbelede, President Ladies of St Mulumba, Lagos Metropolitan Council tasked the Ladies (LSM) on family ways thus discipline, decent dressing, family support, dignity and forgiveness, among others, as principles that endure About sixty men and their spouses were inducted into the KSM and LSM in a colourful ceremony witnessed by congregations of all walks of lives, including family friends and well wishers.
