CCCF History Committee Visits Cardinal Okogie

The Emeritus Archbishop of Lagos, His Eminence Anthony Cardinal Okogie has admonished executives of Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers to continue to propagate the virtues of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ. He said such was necessary for them to lead men to have a good understanding of Jesus Christ, thereby becoming better fathers and providers for their families. He made this admonition recently when the executives of the CCCF, led by the ADC President, Sir Dele Ogunmekan visited him to to get some input regarding the formation of the CCCF. Sir Ogunmekan was accompanied on the visit by the Vice President, Engr. Lawrence Ojemen; Engr. Babafemi Ogundipe, the Promoter of CCCF; Mr. Michael Mayaki, CCCF Faith Formation Officer and Engr Valentine Eke, the General Secretary.

His Eminence took time to recall the activities that led to the formation of CCCF and the purpose for the establishment of the Society in Lagos Archdiocese in 1991. His Eminence admonished CCCF to continue the good work of ensuring more men embrace the virtues of St. Joseph, The Spouse of the Virgin Mary, includes Faith, Courage and Obedience. He advised the History committee to diligently document the history of CCCF so as to give forthcoming members a reference document
