Long live the Worthy President. Worthy Brother Joseph Olujimi Agbaje was on Saturday 5th June 2021, installed as the 75th President of the Catholic Friendly Society No 3619, at an impressive ceremony conducted by the Immediate Worthy Past President Henry O Adewunmi. The Catholic Friendly Society No 3619, which operates only in the Archdiocese of Lagos is the oldest Laity Society in Nigeria, having been inaugurated on the 19th of March 1903 AD. It is headquarters at St Joseph Jubilee Hall, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie Way, Ikoyi Lagos and has its membership opened to all Roman Catholics who must remain so all their lives. Worthy Bro. Agbaje follows the footstep of his father, Most Worthy Bro. Sir Julius Kosebinu Agbaje who was installed President of the Society in 1967 and later rose to become its leader in 1992. We wish Worthy Bro Olujimi Agbaje a most successful tenure of office.
