t was funfair as the priests and pa-
rishioners of Presentation Commu-
nity, Festac celebrates the elderly, 70
years and above.
The event which took place on Sun-
day 16th February this year began with
health checks and a mild physical exer-
cise for the elderly with health workers
on the ground to assist on Saturday 15th
The grand finale took place on Sunday
with Prayers and Thanksgiving during
the 10am mass officiated by the Parish
Priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Godonu.
The celebrations continued thereafter
with entertainment of the Senior citizens
amid food, drinks and dance.
In his speech, the Assistant Parish
Priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Chike Osamor,
admonished the elders to always be
grateful to God as no amount of com-
plaints can change the reality of their old
age.
The event was brought to a close with
benediction given by the Parish Priest.
