President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop Daniel C. Okoh has extended his goodwill to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), during their plenary meeting held recently in Auchi, Edo State. While unable to attend in person due to other commitments, Archbishop Okoh sent Ven. Dr. Princewill Ireoba, Director of Ecumenism and Interfaith Relations at CAN, to represent him. In his message, Archbishop Okoh commended the CBCN for their unwavering commitment to good governance and social justice in Nigeria.

He lauded the bishops’ courage in speaking truth to power, noting that their leadership serves as a beacon of hope amidst the nation’s challenges. The Archbishop also called for increased Catholic participation in CAN’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings to strengthen Christian unity and advocacy. Archbishop Okoh concluded by wishing the bishops a successful conference, praising their dedication to God and humanity.
