Bishops approve resumption of society meetings

The Bishops of the Lagos Ecclesiastical Province have given their approval for the resumption of society meetings in parishes in the Lagos Ecclesiastical Province. The Bishops who gave this directive at the recent meeting of the Bishops’ Conference of Lagos Ecclesiastical Province also directed that all meetings should be held in compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols, including maintaining the required social distancing. While calling on Parish Priests and Priests-in-charge to ensure compliance with the laid down regulations, the Bishops noted that given that the Corona virus which has adversely affected the humanity, is still very much with us, we must learn how to move on with our lives, while trying our best to keep safe at all times.
