Jubilant lay faithful of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos and well-wishers converged on the Holy Cross Cathedral to witness the colourful ceremonies of the Investiture of Very Rev. Fr. Gabriel Amolegbe, Very Rev. Fr. Peter Oke and Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Obayomi as Chaplains to the Supreme Pontiff, now to be addressed as Monsignors on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos. Also elevated to the status of Knight of St. Gregory the Pope, (KSG) are Mr. Gregory Ehimare Enahoro, Messrs. Robert Soji Olagunju and Edward Soleye Hughes. Papal honour of the Knight of St. Sylvester, KSS were bestowed on Mr. Patrick Okwudili Igwilo, Mr. Anthony Ikemefuna Idigbe, Mr. Cyril Oluwatoyin Pinheiro, Mr. Patrick Onyema Amaechi and Dame Winifred Nwaukpo Akpani.
