Following the lifting of ban by the Lagos State Government on tertiary institutions to reopen for normal classes on Monday September 14, 2020, the management of Alberione Institute of Communication Education has directed returning students to report to the Institute on that date and begin preparation for the first semester examination. In a statement made available to the Catholic Herald newspaper, the project coordinator, Mr. Michael Echi stated that returning students must observe fully the non- pharmaceutical protocols as spelt out by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 Pandemic. These include the wearing of face masks, strict observance of the physical distancing and regular washing of hands with sanitizers provided by the Institute and located at strategic points within the campus.
The management also stated that admission and registration for the 2020 and 2021 academic session have since begun and that prospective students should either register online or on campus. According to the statement, available programmes and courses are Professional Diploma in Print, Broadcast and Online journalism. Duration: 9 months for full time and 12 months for part time students.
