SIGNIS, CESACC hold National Convention

The umbrella body of Communicators, SIGNIS Nigeria in collaboration with Centre for Study of African Culture and Communications (CESACC) is set for a four-day National Convention to be held from November 16 to 19, 2021, in the Diocese of Port Harcourt. This was made known in a letter jointly signed by Very Rev. Fr. Patrick Alumuku, President, Rev. Fr. Gerald Musa, LOC Chairman and Mr. Tony Agbugba, Secretary General, SIGNIS Nigeria. According to the letter, the convention which has as its theme, “Communication in the Church in Nigerian-the Past, the Present and Future”, will be held at the Pastoral Centre, Igwuruta and the Catholic Institute of West Africa, CIWA, Port Harcourt, and is set to attract over a 100 delegates across the Dioceses/ Archdioceses of the country, including Priests, Religious and Lay Faithful. The letter read: “The participation fee for the convention is N20,000. This covers three nights of accommodation, feeding and seminar materials. We expect all Directors of Communications, members of CAMPAN, CAEAN and Lecturers in communications related fields to endeavour to be part of this Convention, which will afford us an opportunity to meet, rub minds and examine issues of mutual benefit to us as communicators.”
