The enrollment ceremony in the Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) can be done in the parishes as well as in the Schools. This ceremony is to officially inaugurate the children into the universal unbrella for them as children as bona fide members of the several Missionary Childhood Association. Its essence is for the under-listed reasons as well as give the children a sense of belonging in the Church:

Commitment to missionary work

The enrollment ceremony symbolises a commitment to engage in missionary work and support the missions. By participating in the ceremony, children and young people demonstrate their willingness to spread the message of Christianity and contribute to the mission activities of the Church.

Education and awareness

The enrollment ceremony serves as an educational tool to raise awareness among children about the importance of missionary work and the needs of communities around the world. It helps them understand the challenges faced by people in different parts of the globe and encourages them to empathise and take action.

Spiritual growth

The enrollment ceremony often includes prayers, blessings, and religious rituals, providing an opportunity for children to deepen their faith and spiritual growth. It helps them connect with their Christian identity and instills a sense of purpose and responsibility in their religious journey.

Formation of solidarity

Through the enrollment ceremony, children become part of a larger community of missionaries who share common values and goals. They learn the importance of solidarity and cooperation in supporting those in need, both locally and globally. The ceremony fosters a sense of unity and encourages teamwork among the participants. Overall, the enrollment ceremony in the Missionary Childhood Association combines spiritual, educational, and practical elements to inspire children to become active participants in the mission of the Church, fostering a sense of global solidarity and compassionate action.
